Summary

The Warehouse (Picker/Packer) Associate is responsible for the pulling of customer orders and packing of merchandise to be shipped out.

Responsibilities

Pull merchandise for customer orders using an order form with the style, color, size, and quantity requested. Must be able to process at least 2500 pieces per day to meet production goals.
Become familiar with pre-sold inventory and its location within the department to be able to accurately and efficiently pull orders.
Make sure the orders which are pulled are sent to the billing stations to be shipped.
When necessary go to the Distribution area or Retail area to pull in-house orders.
Pack merchandise and seal cartons for shipment; affix proper address label.
Enter shipping information into the computer.
Transport cartons to proper shipping or holding areas.
Weigh cartons and post weights for truck shipments; palletize and wrap truck shipments.
Load goods into vehicles for walk-in customers.
Transport outside goods from Distribution to Wholesale area.
Hang inventory.
Make sure Wholesale area is kept clean and organized by disposing of trash, boxes, etc.
Assist in other areas of the Wholesale, Pressing, or Distribution area when needed.
Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by the Wholesale Manager/Supervisor.

Qualifications

Consistent and reliable.
Able to work in a fast paced environment with bending, stooping, and some heavy lifting; able to be on feet for long periods of time.
Able to meet or exceed production expectations.
Basic computer skills preferred.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
