Summary

The Custodian/Freight Processing Clerk takes pride in maintaining a clean environment for customers and employees at Hamrick’s and assist on truck delivery days processing freight to be floor ready.

Responsibilities

Provide superior customer service
Maintain clean bathrooms (including toilets, sinks, floor, and mirrors)
Replenish bathroom supplies (toilet tissue, soap, paper towels, etc.) and order supplies needed
Maintain cleanliness of the front entrance
Empty trash containers
Clean break room daily
Clean up breakage, spills, or accidents per safety guidelines
Vacuum carpet, rugs, or sweep floors as needed
Dust and clean fixtures regularly
Assist as a freight processing clerk on truck days to get freight processed and to the floor.
Assist team members and help in other areas as directed by supervisor or management.

Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. on a regular basis
